Multiculturalism: fine tuning
Panzine discuss multiculturalism having as a background the conference Rethinking Multiculturalism: Brazil, Canada and USA, which happened on January 29 and 30 of 2010 at the York University, and its importance to make understand, recognize, appreciate and rethink multiculturalism, excluding eugenic ideas.
Univesrsidade de São Paulo -USP and Universidade Federal de São Carlos UFSCAR (Brazil), University of Pittsburgh (USA) and the Department of Equity Studies at York University (Canada) created an agreement, the Chair of Multiculturalism, to promote the exchange of academics, cooperating on studies about multiculturalism.

Released on the second Wednesday of each month, this investigative show directed, produced, and hosted by Sandro Miranda explores current affairs containing oppinions of Brazilian and Canadian experts on the topics researched, as well as comments of ordinary individuals from both countries.
Issues investigated reflect what is currently impacting both countries, ranging from politics to cycling, sexuality to soccer, as well as topics that are taken by society as granted, but that in reality are much far from that.
Since culture takes centuries to be assimilated by a certain population in a country, the same old habits for some could become a challenge for others trying to embrace on a new journey in a different country, despite the good intentions of becoming an integrated and responsible new citizen.
