  A study done by Ryerson researchers on recent Latin-American immigrants in Toronto is alarming; 56% of this population lacks food for their basic needs causing stress and bad nutrition. The Brazilian gold olympic medalist swimmer César Cielo came to Canada and carried the Olympic Flame through New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy, home of the biggest tide on the world. MPB singer Gal Costa sang at Massey Hall, she gave an interview and spoke about Tropicalia, her love for music, and Bossa Nova.
